Thieves net about $80 in a break into Harry's Service Station at 25 Main Street Biddeford. Police say a bank purse left on an open cash drawer overnight was taken while another cash drawer was found in the building. Entrance reportedly gained via a rear door. Station proprietor Harry N. Biddeford high school seniors Richard Carroll and David Dansereau were hospitalized after a 1959 sedan left Pool road, snapped a utility pole, and slid 60 more feet. Carroll, 19, suffered a back injury and facial cuts. Dansereau, 17, a shoulder issue, was released after treatment. Carroll drove the car, which was declared a total loss. Police Capt. Philip Poirier and Officer Alphonse Faucher investigated.
