Police in Old Orchard Beach released a composite drawing of the arson suspect tied to last Tuesday’s fire at the Red Carpet Club on West Grand Avenue. The man is described as white, about 5'9", 160 pounds, dark brown hair, 21 to 22, possibly driving an old blue van with rusted wheel wells and a home-made cut-out window. Anyone who spots a person matching the description should call the OOB police.

Police chase ends as officer shoots tires in Old Orchard Beach
In Old Orchard Beach a high speed pursuit ended when Beach officer Richard Cameron fired two shots at the fleeing car's rear tires near First Street. Driver Raymond Arnold Clark, 25, of Portland, was injured when his vehicle struck a pole and taken to Webber Hospital. over the weekend 17 people were arrested on charges including assault on an officer disorderly conduct affray trespassing and weapon possession. Two market break-ins on Saco Avenue yielded footprints and stolen merchandise.
