Revolutionary Cell claims attacks at U.S. bases in West Germany
A group calling itself Revolutionary Cell Brig Ulrike Meinhof claimed responsibility for blasts at the U.S. Army V Corps HQ in Frankfurt injuring 16 and arson that damaged two trucks at Lindsey Air Station. Three suspects were detained as West German authorities tightened base security. The letter to AP linked the actions to anti imperialist struggle and referenced prisoners harmed by German American imperialism.
