Nine Courses In Arithmetic To Be Given
The University of Maine General Extension Division will offer Crono Nine extension courses in the Structure of Arithmetic across the state during the spring semester. Dr Spofford H Kimball notes the program aims to strengthen mathematics for elementary teachers as colleges push for two years of math in teacher training. Courses start February at sites including Waterville Guilford Lewiston Rumford Bangor Alfred and Portland with instructors from U Maine Bates Nassau College and other institutions.
