The Pueblo with 83 crew including 6 officers 75 enlisted and 2 civilians was boarded by North Korean forces about 25 miles off the North Korean coast and taken to Wonsan after a tense standoff. In Seoul South Korean troops killed a sixth member of a North Korean assassination team as authorities hunted remnants of the group.
