Fire destroys Biddeford's Eagles club
A morning explosion and fire heavily damaged the Eagles Aerie on Birch Street Biddeford injuring at least one person and shattering windows. Fire officials say ~75 firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours in freezing weather with assistance from Saco Old Orchard Beach and Biddeford Pool. The adjacent three story building owned by Fredette suffered damage from heat and water. the cause remains under investigation.
