Webber Hospital project outlined for Biddeford site

An architect draws a 150 bed Webber Hospital for Alfred Road Biddeford with a $12.5 million budget and a late 1978 opening. The design uses land contours with entrances on two floors and separate access for visitors doctors staff and emergency and outpatient services. Ancillary spaces including x ray offices building services and admin occupy the first two levels while general and specialized patient care units occupy the top two levels. a fifth level appears to hold ventilation and elevator machinery.
