Expenditures Approved At Kennebunk Town Meeting
Kennebunk townspeople approved expenditures totaling 225 756 to add to Kennebunk High School at 209 756 and remodel the lower Town Hall for 16 000. A secret ballot was rejected 271 to 152, and a trust fund proposal was defeated in favor of investing the James C. Little field Educational Trust fund 82 914 with interest directed to the town. An article transferring 483 from the school building planning balance to the high school project was approved. A seven member school building planning committee was named. Street light installations for several roads were approved to take effect after January 1, 1963. Attendance was estimated at 150 200, lower than the November 5 meeting.
