CMP Disputes Property Tax In Saco
Saco Mayor Donald C. Doyle told the City Council CMP may withhold about $100,000 in property taxes on CMP in Saco. CMP disputes the assessed amount by roughly $10,000 and threatens court action, jeopardizing city revenue while insurance costs rise due to vehicle accidents. The council also discussed Planning Board delays on a zoning change for National Distributors of Portland and other municipal items including bids for a full time assessor, tax anticipation loans, and new street lights.
