Red Army Radicals Free Hostages Leave For Libya
Five aeed Army terrorists freed 15 hostages in Kuala Lumpur including U S Consul Robert Stebbins and a Swedish diplomat and flew to Libya on a Japanese jet with four substitutes and five other radicals. The group had seized the U S Embassy building earlier and demanded transport and release of five other radicals from Japanese jails. The plane made a Colombo stop en route to Tripoli. Stebbins 42 of Clovis New Mexico said the hostages were treated well and the terrorists were precise organized and firm while demanding their terms. He noted the terrorists would have killed everyone if not met and expressed mixed admiration for their dedication.
