Route 9 Extension Planned

Kennebunkport representative Elmont S Tyndale said the State Highway Commission plans a 1.2 mile Route 9 extension in Kennebunkport costing about 350000. Highway Commission chairman David H Stevens said selectmen will be contacted to set up public hearings and bids will not be requested until next year.
