Fire destroys barn and damages Roy boat in Saco
A barn on Portland Road in Saco was leveled by fire last night damaging a 1957 cabin cruiser stored inside at Napoleon P. Roy. Saco Fire Department fought the blaze from 10 06 p m to 2 25 a m with two trucks and 12 men. Route 1 traffic was rerouted through Old Orchard Beach while investigators probe the cause. Roy could not estimate losses this morning.

Two Caught One Hunted After Cafe Theft
In Tyngsborough Massachusetts two men allegedly robbed a cafe owner of 2000 dollars then were captured by police after a chase in a stolen car that crashed. Paul E Shinnick 37 of Newton was taken at the crash site. Hank Landry 32 of Waltham was later captured as a search for Al Deneo 34 of Waltham continued through dense woods.
