CMP Rate Hearings Open in Portland Maine

State prison workers vote to strike if pay fall short
In Thomaston Maine 65 percent of Maine State Prison employees voted by secret ballot to strike if Gov Longleys pay plan is approved or if they receive less than a 15 a week raise. About 156 of 187 workers belong to the MSEA and results will be released after late ballots are counted.

Public not endangered by crash of hot truck
