Prepare C C C Camps For Winter
Preparations for winter quarters will begin this month at several Upper Peninsula civilian conservation corps camps. Enclosed cook and sleeping camps will be built using the plan from former lumber camps, with some old camps rebuilt for winter use. Most occupants have served in fire fighting this year in a very dry season, aiding the state conservation department in preventing larger fires.

David L. Fink of Ramsay dies at Grand View hospital after nearly three weeks ill from complications of disease. A 68 year old former clothing store owner, he was born in Rutsk Poland in 1865 and came to the U S at 18. He leaves three daughters Mrs A Shapiro Mrs Michael Apter and Beatrice Fink and a son William, all of Chicago, plus three sisters and two brothers. Funeral at Moore's funeral chapel in Bessemer Friday at 1 pm with burial in Hurley Jewish cemetery.
