Bessemer Chamber of Commerce discussed Winterfest 69 celebration and flag purchases for 25 nations at the Range Restaurant. The Winterfest Queen contest will be run by the Bessemer Woman's Club for local girls 16 to 20, with details pending. A rock band is booked for Dec 26 at Washington School Auditorium for 2 admission. The group hopes 44 cotton flags and brackets cost 375 dollars and Santa visit is slated for Dec 6. The next meeting is Dec 3 at My Sister's Cafe.
