State Cops to Patrol Upper Peninsula Roads This Summer
Michigan state police will patrol heavily traveled highways in the upper peninsula with a new system of non fixed routes. Surprising patrols on trunk lines will deter speeders while main arteries receive regular coverage. Specially trained motorcycle troopers will enforce traffic laws with emphasis on courtesy and swift action against drunken drivers and dangerous violators.
