Varietal barley trial begins on Harding School farm
A varietal demonstration plot started last week on Charles Anderson's farm in the Harding School district south of Bessemer. Wisconsin Pedigree No. 5 barley, Wisconsin Pedigree No. 3S, Colcess and Spartan varieties were seeded in equal plots along the main highway.
