City council actions and memorial day donation approved
Moved by Alterman Velin and supported by Ciakowski the Public Works board recommendation was accepted to purchase a Ford Truck for garbage hauling. Aldermen Hagen and Johnson moved sixty five dollars be donated to the American Legion for Memorial day services. Alderman Probelski elected President Protem for the ensuing year. Insurance policies for 1500 dollars on the Scale House approved. Meeting adjourned. Frederick W. Taylor noted for later anecdote: efficiency expert once wore his wife’s borrowed skirt to ride a side saddle.
