August Hoffman dies after long life in Wisconsin
August Hl Hoffman aged 90 of Bessemer died Friday April 25 at his daughter Tenseths home in Pigeon Falls Wisconsin. Born in Germany in 1850 he came to the United States at 18 and lived in Cincinnati before moving to Wisconsin where he ran a drawing business and later farmed in Merrillan. Survivors include two sons Henry and Charles and many children Emil Albert William and Tenseth. Funeral services were held Monday in Merrillan with relatives from Merrillan and nearby towns attending.
