Attendance at the tournament topped 8000 with weekly crowds of 3000 on Friday and Saturday nights. Bessemer staged a highly successful meet featuring Ironwood Wakefield Watersmeet and Bessemer township bands. Harold Anderson of Stambaugh starred on offense and defense, while lively play and a high scoring slate highlighted the events.
