A Friday afternoon lawn party at P. S. Williams home celebrated the birthdays of Robert and Janet Williams with contests and refreshments for about twenty children. Many Ramsay residents left town for Midsummer weekend outings to Lake Superior, Iron Mountain, and Duluth, while local events included a wedding, a junior church picnic, and various visits. The Ramsay School grading contract was awarded to R. L. Ericson of Bessemer, and a concrete retaining wall contract was let to P. J. Nickel.
