Cub Scout Pack 337 Outdoor Meeting and Jungle Theme
Cub Scout Pack 337 held an outdoor meeting with colors posted by Steven Antoine and Donald Hill. The group recited the Pledge of Allegiance as Cubmaster Roland Antoine led a community sing. Den 3 led by Den Mother Florence Kangas performed a Jumble Telegraph skit tied to Jungle Tales. Native drummers were Wayne Kangas, Kim Kangas, Todd Sippola, and William Erickson. Den 5 led by Mrs Elmer Hill danced Baloo the bear from the Jungle Book. Dancers included Mark Mattson, Donald Hill, Ralph Wiemers, and Roger Gierle. Closing included tributes to mothers by Mrs Mary Fastelin, with several cubs “sleeping” in chairs as mothers watched. Mary C Branning's A Cub Mother's Prayer was read by Cubmaster Antoine. Refreshments were served by Mrs Kangas with assistance from Mrs Sippola and Mrs Erickson.

Lukach Receives MTU Scholarship and Opportunity Grant
