Budget Adopted for City of Bessemer 1949 50
The Bessemer Common Council met May 31 1949 to adopt the budget for fiscal year October 1 1949 to September 30 1950. The Finance Committee presented the budget including water light street police fire and miscellaneous funds with appropriations totaling many thousands. The vote approved the budget as recommended with allocations for water fund light fund street and sidewalk fund police fund fire fund and related departments and services.
