The first annual commencement at Bessemer Township School honored ninth grade graduates on Monday at 7 30 p m in the Ramsay school gym. Presiding Bruce Rampanelli led the program with pledge audience welcome class history a saxophone solo and diploma presentations by Alfred C Lund.

Arthur E. Bugni 44 formerly of Bessemer died unexpectedly Sunday May 26 at his home 681 S 19th St Milwaukee He was born December 2 1923 in Bessemer son of Mrs Lee Upton He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946 married Beverly Haugen November 14 1950 and is survived by five children his mother two brothers two sisters and two half brothers Funeral services were held Friday at 2 pm at Sharon Lutheran Church burial in Hillcrest Cemetery pallbearers listed Out of town relatives attended and Range area friends joined local mourners
