Bessemer Common Council Adopts 1964 Annual Budget
The Bessemer City Council held a June 1 1964 meeting approving Ordinance No. 222 to raise $99 324 by taxation for city funds. The session included a public hearing notice and discussion of budget recommendations from the Finance Committee detailing numerous vendor claims and payroll items for May.
