Gov Davidson ousts Sheriff Walter of Iron County after an investigation into extortion and prisoner extortions. BF W Andrews is named as acting sheriff for the remainder of the term amid testimony from two prisoners and a sheriff's aide.
Mr. James Pazdernik and family extend sincere thanks to friends and neighbors who offered kindness and support during the bereavement of their beloved son and brother, George Pazdernik.
Dr. O. C. Breitenbach, a leading figure in Escanaba's typhoid fight and water projects, will leave about June 1 to become physician for William Bonifas Lumber and United Logging at Watersmeet. He will oversee health for nearly 500 employees and future expansion.
George Pazdernik died in Corinth Wisconsin on May 27 1910 after a two week illness from typhoid fever and pneumonia. He was born near Dorchester Wisconsin May 20 1892 and lived with relatives in Wisconsin before moving to Minot North Dakota and then Corinth. He is survived by his father James Pazdernik Milwaukee his mother two brothers and four sisters and was a member of Stetsonville Lodge 190 44 Modern Brotherhood of America.
