Karste Not Guilty in Embezzlement Case in Circuit Court
Otto E. Karste the Tronwood stock broker was acquitted of embezzlement charges by a circuit court jury after three hours deliberation. The trial, before Judge Streeter, drew on Tuesday and Wednesday with strong prosecution but a not guilty verdict. Additional similar charges have been filed by Iver Haven, with more cases expected.
