Ramsay Man Dies in Gun Accident Near Ramsay
Albert Sjoman 39 was found dead Sunday afternoon in woods north of Ramsay from a bullet wound ruled accidental by Coroner William Jennings. A rifle lay nearby. He married Elvie Roonj in 1931 and leaves three daughters, two brothers Ernest of Butte Montana and Carl of Bessemer, five sisters, and his Bridgeman Russell Co truck driver position.

Bessemer's baseball club captured a series of weekend wins over Channing and South Range during the Fourth of July period. Sunday saw two vs Channing with Valery and Darin each hitting four, and a 19 8 first game rally. Monday's 12 inning triumph over South Range featured Kranarich's late heroics and a winning bunt by Heikkinen aided by Valery's deep drive.
