County board debates claims and accounts for general and jail expenses, road and farm costs, court and officer fees, and inquest summaries. It approves committee recommendations on equalization, fixes a county fair loan of 1400000 for a cattle pavilion, and schedules next steps for funding and approvals.
The Gogebic County Board of Supervisors adopts the Committee on Equalization’s report. Equalized valuations for real estate and personal property are set for 1925 tax apportionment. Additional actions include mine safety request referral, infirmary fire repair, probate salary adjustments, and a proposed three member prosecuting attorney committee for Lake Gogebic high water.
The Gogebic County Board of Road Commissioners met in Bessemer on June Mth day of 1925 to approve taking certain roads as county roads. The Old County Road beginning at the intersection with Fourth Avenue will extend east to Colby Street and continue under the same name. Luther I Sherman Deputy County Clerk signed the notice dated 6-19 to 7-3.
