Jack Rowett Jr dies in traffic accident in Massachusetts
Notification of the death of Jack Rowett Jr of Montague Massachusetts after a traffic crash on Wednesday February 18. Born January 3 1934 in Bessemer he served four years in the U S Navy aboard the USS Mississippi and later worked in Boston. Surviving are his widow Coleen Wysocki, father Jack Rowett Sr, mother Gladys Rowett, two sisters Dean Carli and Shari Rowett, and brother Marshall Rowett in Navy service. Funeral services and interment set for Saturday in Springfield Massachusetts.

Matt C. Johnson, 50, of Erwin Township, was found dead Sunday February 15 in his station wagon on South Range road. Coroner’s report cites carbon monoxide poisoning from personal safety concerns.
