Survived by widow five sons Carl Conrad Earling Eugene Verner one sister and one brother eight grandchildren. Funeral from Frick funeral home to Sharon Lutheran Church with Rev Eastman officiating. Interment at Hillcrest cemetery. Pallbearers were his five sons Carl Conrad Eugene Earl ing Verner and the minor grandson Julius.

In Bessemer the township primary drew just over 1000 voters with 33 on the ballot. Incumbent Eino Heikkinen was re nominated supervisor on the Peoples ticket. Lawrence Gaudette won clerk by 389 votes. Jacop Frandy edged John Giacherio for township treasurer by 6 votes. Succa was re nominated highway commissioner.
