The Oliver Iron Company announces a voluntary Accident Relief Plan for employees injured or families of fatally injured workers, effective May 1 1910. Funded entirely by the company, it offers immediate, lawyer-free relief with fixed payments and no employee contributions. The plan, tested for one year, designates a Manager whose decisions are final and who can adjust payments to fit needs.
