Oliver Mining buys pine lands on Mesaba range
A dispatch from Duluth dated December 7 reports the Oliver Mining Company purchased the McAlpin tract of pine on the eastern Mesaba range for 860,000. The tract earlier sold for 30,000 a few years ago. High premiums for early delivery accompany the deal and iron importations by Oliver Company are noted.
