Graduate From Area Training Center Reaches 1511 Trained
Supervisor John Teigen announced the Area Training Center has trained 1 511 people in 23 occupational programs over four years. The ceremony at Don H Bottom University Center on the NMU campus featured Phil Ensor of Eaton Yale and Towne Inc as principal speaker. The program, a joint effort of the Manpower Development and Training Section, Michigan Employment Security Commission, Vocational Division of the Michigan Department of Education, and NMU, ran 24 weeks.
