Two Anvil Men Stricken Tuesday

Two Anvil men die within 24 hours in Anvil area deaths reported Tuesday and Wednesday. Joseph Georgie, 38, of AR vik Palms, died at home after a sudden illness Monday night. Coroner to rule after autopsy. Georgie married six months ago and leaves a wife, stepson, brother Bartolo, parents in Italy, and other relatives. Funeral Saturday at St Sebastian in Bessemer. John Simich of Anvil dies at Newport hospital after two weeks illness. Simich, born July 7 1883 in Juge Slavia, had worked at Anvil mine since 1914, survived by wife and five stepchildren. Funeral Friday at St Sebastian in Bessemer.

Mrs Chas Bjork Pioneer Dies In City Funeral Held

Mrs Charles Bjork aged 81 died early Monday at Grand View hospital after a two month illness. Born March 31 1834 in Varmland Sweden she had lived in the city and Ironwood the past years. Survived by husband and daughter Hulda the funeral was held Wednesday with a home service at 2 and church service at Shar on Lutheran Rev F E W Eastman officiating. Pallbearers were J R Johnson Herman Berg Edward Ostby Amil Erickson Otto Johnson and Charles Reed. Burial in Hillcrest cemetery.

Burial Services For Edward Church Here

Private funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Edward Chareh son of Mr. and Mrs. A BK Chareh. The body arrived Monday morning from Lapeer Michigan. Services were held at the home at 2 30 o'clock and the Rev Charles M Praser officiated Interment took place in Hillrest Cemetery.
