Against Series for U. P. Honors Debating Postseason Cup
C C Cowpland, president of the Upper Peninsula baseball association, says a postseason series between leaders should not decide the peninsula championship. He favors exhibitions after the season and argues the cup must go to the team with the highest winning percentage, citing spring agreements and districting issues. He suggests any extra games be added to the regular schedule if approved. He recalls a country trip and a quip about window peeping, noting the strange ending to the discussion.
