Last Rites Held for J Emil Marander
Funeral services for J Emil Marander 77 of 407 E Longyear St were held Tuesday at Sharon Lutheran Church with Rev C Raymond Holmes officiating. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery Ironwood. Pallbearers included Elmer Erickson Bernard Vogeler Tony Prtile Carl Anderson William A Hansen Jack Reardon. Besmer American Legion Post honor guard attended. Out of town mourners came from Libertyville Illinois Duluth White Pine and Range communities.

The group thanked outgoing officers President Becky Matonich Vice President Louise Evsich Secretary Betty Martell and Treasurer Eleanor Fiori and installed new officers Mrs Eugene Winkowski as President Mrs LaVerne Halappa as Vice President Nancy Kritz as Secretary and Marge Bonevetz as Treasurer. After the meeting members contributed items for the Vietnam box and enjoyed a lunch hosted by Becky Matonich Betty Martell and Eleanor Fiori.
