Harold Windberg 54 former Wakefield resident died suddenly at his Milwaukee home on Friday April 13. Born March 10, 1908 in Wakefield he attended local schools and married Evelyn Harris of Bessemer. He worked 30 years at Allis Chalmers Milwaukee. Survived by wife daughter Mrs Gerald Vanselow Milwaukee two grandchildren three sisters Ruth Windberg Baltimore Alfie Windberg and Mrs Richard Doney Wakefield two brothers Carl and Arthur Windberg Wakefield. Funeral services and burial were in Milwaukee Tuesday. A daughter was born April 16 to Mr and Mrs George Kallander Flint son of Mrs and the late Mr John Kallander.

Abandon Search For Saxon Woman
The search for Mrs. Alfred Hill 58 of Saxon for a drowning April 4 in the Montreal River near Lake Superior has ended. The area between the 122 bridge and the Lake Superior District Power Co dam was drained Tuesday morning and the river bed probed without results. Authorities believe her body was carried over the dam during high water and is now in Lake Superior. Periodic shoreline patrols will continue. Michigan Wisconsin authorities and Iron County officials participated.
