The Independent party swept the city ticket led by Dr Wood Pinkerton. They won in the first ward with exceptions in the constable race, the second ward, and the fifth. George Knobboeh and Arving W Truettner were among the winners. Voters approved a $25,000 bond for street improvements and a $150,000 county road extension bond with strong county support.
