Maple Grove children’s day program well acted with strong attendance and a $10.35 foreign missions offering.

Mount Hope notes traveler Harrison Bryan from Montpelier visiting his sick mother at R Calderwood. Portland friends Mary Numbers and Sam Tyndall visit their mother Mrs Vaughn. St Joseph residents Kotla Calderwood’s old classmate gathers weekly. Local families host visitors including Dudleys from Detroit. Weather turns mild after last Sunday rain. farmers milk clover hay. Samuel Welly under medical care in Ft Wayne hospital. Bettie Myers ill. John Cross to finish corn planting this week.

Salem Maryland notes 140 weight Stay school attendance last Sunday with all welcome. Guy Danner of St Wayne visited father Mo Danner and family. Dora and Dick Davis of Pleasant Mills stay with grandparents Charles Davis and wife. Harrison Bryan of Montpelier visits for all mere.
Several out of town visitors extended greetings to local families at Salem church. Delson Burkett preached on Thy will be done. Irwin Davis and son Charles arrived from Portland and Irwin continues work with W. Hood Co. A blacksmith is sought for Salem. Camping horse trader and junk buyer spotted nearby.
June 24 1912 Whit Beach and family attended the Mow-out in Falls woods last Sunday. Grover Butcher returned from Kalamazoo Michigan. Lillie Butcher traveled to Decatur to work for sister Mrs Charles Courtney. Mrs Geo Wesley of Van Buren visits with her mother Mrs Jane Ford. Farmers busy with clover hay and corn plowing. Rena Sanderson travels Thursday to Mendon Michigan to visit daughter Mrs H C Ford. James Runyan and Perry Butcher helped N A Seitz to make hay last week. Everet Woodruff butcher at New Corydon sought fat cattle. Guests at Geo Brookhart near Phenix for dinner include A A Seitz family Lona Nelson Add Rigby and Mrs Rene Sanderson John Adams wife and river Miss Belle Pace Nottingham Mr and Mrs Elwood Grookhart and daughter of Keystone. All report a fine time and hope to meet again.
June 26 1912 lists gatherings with Daniel Augsberger and wife Lovina North Mrs Jennie Justus Lenore Pratt and children Berbert North and Master Lewis Justus among others visiting in Linn Grove from Elida Bluffton Davenport and Delphos with families.
Guests of Peter Hoffmann and family on Sunday. Nellie Hunt hosts a lawn party at Bluffton with Chloe Heister and others. Baumgartner, McCullough, Lispie, Schlagenhaus, and Yortley plan to move stock to the new Federal building next week. Dunbar and family return from Bloomington after graduation. Sterling Hoffmann, M D, also returns from Indiana Medical College. Ella Augsberger visits Bluffton then goes home. Lela Ebersole hosts a party for her birthday with several guests and families. Wm. Borrer heads to French Lick for a ten day springs treatment.

Daisy Fanning Susie Clark Lizzie Miller and Reichert family members from Decatur visited G W Gates. Harry Runyon Joe and Grover Cook and families visited Manes Hirschy.
Fine weather for crops keeps farmers busy in East Wabash. Charles Burley of Wartford township visited grandparents. Myrtle Mann visited sister in Ohio. J Bucher's barn ready for hay while carpenters work elsewhere. Mesdames Will and Lorin Carr and Carl Burley with children visited J T Burley. Will Mann and wife visited Hartford township last Wednesday.
Caroline Maurer and Sarah Neader Hauser visited Burl Rian along with others in Jefferson township last Friday. Bessie Bolenbau of Fort Wayne visits her parents for a week or two. Cora Linton of Van Buren? Michigan visits relatives here. Reverend Asherman of Anderson filled Elm Grove appointment last Sunday. J F Kneppera, a former resident, visits the Millers. Farmers busy cutting clover and making hay. A S Burley sold two horses to Henry Kuntz. Mrs. E J Anspurger of Decatur visited her children over Sunday. Myrtle Derickson of Lima, Ohio visiting relatives. Citizens plan Fourth of July in Berne with religious observance.
