Several out of town visitors extended greetings to local families at Salem church. Delson Burkett preached on Thy will be done. Irwin Davis and son Charles arrived from Portland and Irwin continues work with W. Hood Co. A blacksmith is sought for Salem. Camping horse trader and junk buyer spotted nearby.

June 24 1912 Whit Beach and family attended the Mow-out in Falls woods last Sunday. Grover Butcher returned from Kalamazoo Michigan. Lillie Butcher traveled to Decatur to work for sister Mrs Charles Courtney. Mrs Geo Wesley of Van Buren visits with her mother Mrs Jane Ford. Farmers busy with clover hay and corn plowing. Rena Sanderson travels Thursday to Mendon Michigan to visit daughter Mrs H C Ford. James Runyan and Perry Butcher helped N A Seitz to make hay last week. Everet Woodruff butcher at New Corydon sought fat cattle. Guests at Geo Brookhart near Phenix for dinner include A A Seitz family Lona Nelson Add Rigby and Mrs Rene Sanderson John Adams wife and river Miss Belle Pace Nottingham Mr and Mrs Elwood Grookhart and daughter of Keystone. All report a fine time and hope to meet again.
