Claude H Garner to Install as Heart Grange Master

Claude H Garner is set to be installed as Master of Heart Grange in the Berkshires tomorrow at 8 pm. Festival of Arts Draws 1600 at Berkshire Museum

About 1,600 attended the two day Festival of Arts presented by the Berkshire Museum Auxiliary. More than $500 was realized for museum projects. Approximately 1,000 attended Saturday. Demonstrations included glass blowing pottery making ink and rice paper printing bow making framing ceramics sculpture weaving and portrait sketches.

Duplicate Bridge Winners Named at Stanley Club

The Cauffmans led east-west at the Stanley Club in a local duplicate bridge event with Testa and Snell close behind. North-south winners included Uhrig and Prescott with Harding and Pease in second, while GEAA results named Berasi Jr. and Gilmore top in north-south. The Stanley Club season ends next Monday with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by bridge. those with three or more Summer games get a free meal, others may join for the game afterward.

CYC Auxiliary To Have Social Open Fall Season

The Catholic Youth Center women’s auxiliary launches the fall season with a social Thursday at 8 in the girls’ lounge.
