Beaux Arts Trio Opens 51st South Mountain Series

Beaux Arts Trio with new violinist Isi dore Cohen performed two Beethoven trios and Dvorak Trio Op 65 at the Temple of Music atop South Mountain. Pianist Menahem Pressler and cellist Bernard Greenhouse delivered balanced, vivid readings while Cohen joined for the first Pittsfield concert. Mrs. Willem Willeke welcomed the audience and noted postponement of Metropolitan Opera performances due to union issues.
