Campaign ends with a yaw? Pittsfield mayoral race tepid

In a 1969 rematch between Mayor Donald G. Butler and ex mayor Remo Del Gallo turnout and attention are low. Voters show apathy as campaigns revisit past records without a clear forward vision. Few public appearances, a lone Labor Day crowd for Del Gallo, and a tally drawing only 30 spectators reflect diminished fervor.
