Lenox Reduces 1965 Tax Rate to $51 Per Thousand
Lenox voters approve a 1965 tax rate of $51 per $1,000, down $2 from 1964. Gifts include Foxhollow School and Boston Symphony Orchestra. officials urge more tax exempt institutions to share town service costs. Last year’s rate was $33 per $1,000.
