Morison Attacks Textbooks as Dull and Biased

Historian Admiral Morison condemned public school history texts as dull and biased written by so called third grade hacks. He blamed left right ethnic and racial pressure groups for excluding good historians from schools and warned such poor texts erode patriotism and youth conduct. Morison noted his own works likely won’t be used in schools and cited a poll showing American history is least engaging for high school students. He announced a new Oxford History of the American People to be issued April 22.
