The Planning Board elected Kenneth Negus as chairman at an organizational meeting. Charles Jaeschke became secretary and Walter Bator will handle publicity. Other members include William Sample and Francis Driscoll, who was elected to the board last month.
Cheshire School to stage a doubleheader with girls versus mothers at 7 and boys versus fathers at 8 on Saturday. No admission. townspeople invited. Also, Stafford Chapter CBS to elect officers Tuesday at 8 with a social hour and refreshments by volunteers. Local birth notice follows.
The Town of Lenox invites sealed bids for school furniture submissions due by 12 oclock noon on Friday April 1965. Hiram F Battey, Superintendent of Schools, Lenox Massachusetts, reserves the right to reject any bid and to waive irregularities.
Berkshire Superior Court issues a foreclosure action filed by Union Federal Savings and Loan Association against John L Fontaine and Rita Y Fontaine and others. The notice warns that if a written appearance and answer are not filed by April 5, 1965, the mortgage may be foreclosed by entry and sale under the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act.
