County 4-H Club News Highlights Summer Activities
The county dairy judging school was held June 4 at the Altessio Brothers Farm in Pittsfield with John Gagnon of UMass as judge. Top seniors and juniors advance to state contests, while a busy July and August schedule includes state fairs, interstate exchanges, and several capon projects across Berkshire County.

Mrs Lachowicz Joins Sawyer's Studio Staff
Mrs Richard A Lachowicz of 20 Birch Grove Drive formerly Joan C Lockey has joined the photographic staff of Don Sawyers Studio on Lenox Avenue. She is a graduate of St Joseph's High School and trained at the Dunbar Stanley Studio in Charlotte NC. She now specializes in color candids for weddings.

District Court Hears Roy Plea In Wet Driving Case
District Court heard Robert F. Roy 21 of 14 Jubilee Terrace plead innocent to wet driving operating without a license and drunkenness. Judge Frank W. Cinsini continued the case to Wednesday. Roy was arrested about 2 30 a m by Officer Richard W. Delphinar. Roy was represented by Atty. George B. Crane. James E. Ellsworth of 55 Howard Street was fined 10 for speeding and 10 for driving without a license after reversing earlier pleas to guilty. A 25 fine was imposed on Arthur R. Riley for a second speeding offense within a year. A charge of driving without a registration on his person was filed. Mary A. Kincaid of Lenox Dale was fined 21 for two parking violations and Ann C. Murphy of Richmond paid 4 for two. Parking charges against James E. Belcher of Dalton and Francis F. Demary Jr. of Hinsdale, who pleaded not guilty, were dismissed. Parking fines of 3 were paid by Richard G. Lull of Williamstown, Richard R. Tenneson of 216 Springside Ave. and Beatrice M. Simpson of 16 Colt Road. At the clerk's office, Matthew J. Jacoby of 122 Jason St. was fined 10 for driving an uninspected motor vehicle. Carolyn O. Langdon and Addie G. Stafford to Raffaele Frieri, house and lot corner of Livingston and Malcolm avenues.
