By a single vote a Special town meeting approved 30 acres owned by Louis Searings as the site for a new Lenox high school and appropriated 22 500 to buy it. Voters also funded a sewer line, amended a bond issue to 1 2495 million plus 100 000 from stabilization. About 330 attended as plans await state approval for a Sept 1965 opening.

Stanley V Bednarz longtime Adams Board of Assessors chairman died at Albany Medical Center after a long illness.
