Williams data bank project spurs county planning study
Berkshire College students in Pittsfield and North Adams are gathering data for a county data bank aimed at easing future planning. The project, led by Prof. Edwin H Clark, would store housing, economic, environmental and infrastructure information to reduce repeated surveys. Ahern of the Berkshire County Industrial Development Commission backs the effort, noting a 426‑family sampling in Pittsfield will update a 23‑year‑old housing study.
