Property Owner Seeks Acceptance of Crissey Road
GREAT BARRINGTON William J Fenton of Westfield owner of the building leased by the Telephone Co on Crissey Flats off Stockbridge Road asked the Selectmen for help in getting the town to accept the uncompleted portion from Stockbridge Road to his building. The town had accepted the front half two years ago but the remaining section lacked a six inch water line per bylaws and no vote can be held until requirements are met. Fenton offered a bond to cover installation costs if the area is developed. The Selectmen noted bylaws require all streets to meet standards before acceptance.
